Our experiences and cultural background formed a solid musical force and hearing our inspirations lead us to create songs with catchy melody that Latin Rock fans will enjoy and appreciate
Where are you from?
In 1998 Alex Reynoso and Javier Cazares formed the group to let their influences impact the Spanish Rock scene. We expanded with Chicagoan's Raymundo Aguilar and Gus Santana which completed the bands sound. The self titled CD "Crystal Planet" by Joe Satriani was the translated inspiration for the band's name. We recorded their first CD "Miralo" in November 1999. We released their follow up "Velocidad" on October 31, 2001. With their experiences and cultural background formed a solid musical force that had the group opening for major label headliners. Our music was heard on independent radio stations across the US, Canada, Mexico and Internationally. After our tenure as Planeta De Crystal, in 2006 Alex, Gus and Javier joined with another local artist Marialen Magana to form Los Pecados De Maria with great success recording Por Si Una Vez in 2008. In 2023 Planeta De Crystal will reunite for 25th anniversary live shows
