Who are you?
Josh Dykzeul is a highly driven 25-year-old electronic music artist, who goes under the alias BeatMaster Slim. He recently graduated from University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Technology, and resides in Bend, Oregon. Josh began producing music in 2014 and released his debut EP, Gorgeous, on July 20th, 2018. Instead of conforming to mainstream trends, his tracks are emotionally driven and each track is its own work of art.

Where are you from?
BeatMaster Slim grew up in Danville, California, but currently resides in Bend, Oregon. The nightlife music scene in Bend is very House music oriented, however there is a lot of bluegrass, folk, and alternative music that dominates the rest of the music scene in Bend. With the newly updated Hayden Homes Amphitheater, more and more big name acts from various music genres are making their way to Bend. After seeing ODESZA at Hayden Homes in 2022, BeatMaster Slim attended an After Party at the Midtown Ballroom. The After Party was all House Music, and with his love for electronic music, BeatMaster Slim was inspired to work on his latest ongoing creation, a House album!
